Hospital Information

Federal Regulations require every that every hospital death be called in to an eye bank. Our in-service will help you meet your education goals and give your staff an understanding of the basis for that requirement. Cornea donation is a heartfelt gift that gives sight to two people. It also gives the donor family a positive focus during their loss and subsequent grieving. For these reasons it is helpful to understand not only the donation process but also the need for corneal transplantation.
Our Gift of Sight in-service will acquaint you with guidelines and criteria for the donation process.
